A friendly reminder on the following

Rear red lights must be fitted to your bike for ALL SVCC races, these are mandatory.

Spares, carry your spare tubes etc, you must be self sufficient on the road.

Roster Duty, if you can’t make it to your rostered event, please notify us as soon as you get your letter, remembering it takes everyone to put on a race.

A $100 fine exists for not showing up for your rostered event without notification. Do not just ignor it, your fellow members need you and are relying on you.

Do not cross double white lines at any stage, especially in an attempt to  gain an advantage. The mandatory state wide penalty for crossing double white lines is $250.00 and 1 month suspension

ALL our road races have the 250m marker in place for the final sprint, this must be obeyed at all times.

Please do not expect to alter your grade on the day of an event, the handicaper must be notified prior.

NO LAPS OUT, we are racing on the road and not a criterium.

If you drop out on a lap course, you MUST report to the Chief Judge.

Be aware when you leave a race that other grades are still out racing.

If your bar ends are missing and someone has let you know they are missing , please rectify the problem before it goes to the next level.

2010 Australian Masters Road Championships, Ballarat, Friday 24 - Tuesday 28 September.

Entries are now open for the the 2010 Australian Masters Road Championships (AMRC10) which will be held in Ballarat from Friday 24 to Tuesday 28 September.

AMRC10 is expected to attract over 800 Victorian, Australian and international competitors across the five days, with male and female competitors able to contest the individual road time trial, criterium and road race in their respective categories.

Scheduling of AMRC10 sees the championships coincide with the 2010 UCI Road World Championships in Melbourne and Geelong from 29 September, and it is hoped that competitors stay to witness this great event.

Also, a rest day for competitors on Sunday September 26 will allow them to take in all the action of the Herald Sun World Cycling Classic Ballarat.

The event is yet another addition to the City of Ballarat’s reputation of being a fantastic supporter of cycling.  The City has regularly hosted the Australian Open Road Championships, the Jayco Herald Sun Tour, the Melbourne to Ballarat Classic, in addition to numerous other local cycling events each year.

Entries can be made via the Cycling Australia online system now with discounts for entering all three disciplines.
